IRB: Tantalis GATOR
Account Options
Public Users
You must FIRST apply for a BCeID. If you do not have a BCeID then go to the BCeID website www.bceid.ca for more details. Tantalis Gator will accept either a Basic or a Business BCeID.
Once you have obtained a BCeID you MUST register to obtain a Tantalis Gator Account before you can log in and use Tantalis GATOR. Accounts are available for both public users and provincial government employees.
Public access to Tantalis GATOR is available through two options. Whichever option you choose, you will need to have a BCeID.
Internet Payment Account
This option allows public or non-government clients to quickly and easily apply for a Tantalis GATOR account over the internet and pay-as-you-go using a credit card. For more details please review our Internet Payment Account page and Internet Payment Fee Schedule.
Annual Subscription Account
If you plan to be a regular Tantalis GATOR user, then this may be the most economical option as it provides unlimited search access. For more details please review our Annual Subscription Account page and Annual Subscription Fee Schedule.
Provincial Government Employees
Provincial government employees can use their IDIR ID and IDIR password to access Tantalis Gator. Simply click on the Start button on the Tantalis GATOR home page. You will initially be required to complete a short application form. Once the application form is completed you will be able to log into and begin using Tantalis GATOR.
Please note that Tantalis GATOR no longer requires government employees to add the former suffix "@BCGOV" to their IDIR ID, when they log into Gator. Changes will NOT be required to your Active Directory to access the new Tantalis Gator.
