Real-time Service Description

  • Five (5) dual frequency Trimble NetRSTM GPS receivers have been installed at different locations. A centralized server running Trimble GPSNetTM software controls the receiver operation, data logging parameters, and real-time broadcast. This component broadcasts the real-time corrections and also logs post-mission correction data which can be downloaded from CRGB's Geospatial Reference Downloads page.
  • Data communications delivery mechanism:
    • Open Internet access
    • Bell managed Network
  • Access to the service is controlled via Ntrip (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol). Ntrip is an RTCM standard (see http://www.rtcm.org) which supports streaming RTCM correction data.
