Overview
The Digital Road Atlas (DRA) program exists to provide a single, authoritative source of road data for the Province. The program services clients and users in the DRA Partnership through ongoing provision of data and services to meet the partners' specific needs. Key business areas that the DRA supports include:
- Emergency dispatch (BC Ambulance Service, E-Comm, RCMP)
- Disaster Management (Provincial Emergency Program, private partners from the oil and gas sector, Ministry of Health, RCMP)
- Planning and Analysis (Ministry of Forests and Range, Ministry of Environment, Integrated Land Management Bureau, BC Assessment Authority, Natural Resources Canada)
- Demographic Analysis (BC Stats, Ministry of Education, StatsCan)
- Elections (Elections BC, Elections Canada)
The DRA program also serves the general public with 'viewing-only' products made available through the ILMB Land and Resource Data Warehouse (LRDW).

How to Access
Access to DRA data and services is through the DRA partnership. A viewing-only version of the M-PAR product is available through the Land and Resource Data Warehouse.
M-PAR/D-PAR - must sign a sign a PAR Data Agreement.
M-FAR - must sign a sign a PAR Data Agreement and purchase applicable FAR licenses
D-FAR - must purchase applicable FAR licenses
Please note that CRGB is permitted to license M-FAR and D-FAR products to Provincial Government agencies only.
FAR Licensing
Pricing for fully attributed DRA data is based on a geographic area, the specific attribution required and the number of user seats. CRGB is permitted to license M-FAR and D-FAR products to Provincial Government agencies only.

FAR Data License Information
| Full Site License: | 12 seats is considered a full site license. A client requiring more than 12 seats will only pay for 12. |
| Web License: | A license to display DRA FAR data on the Web equates to 4 seats. An additional 4 seats must be purchased for Web display purposes. |
| Emergency Applications: | The prices listed above have a factor of 2 applied to them when used for the purposes of emergency dispatch. |
| Non-Government Agencies: | Under its agreement with GIS Innovations, the Government of British Columbia may only license DRA FAR data to provincial agencies. Non-government agencies wanting to license FAR data should contact GIS Innovations. |
The intellectual property (IP) is licensed by the Government of British Columbia from GIS Innovations Ltd.
Specialized DRA FAR Licensing
In addition to regular FAR licensing, there are two other options as described below:
| Project License: | A limited use license available for up to 9 months of use with a maximum of 3 seats. This licensing is available for time limited projects. |
| Evaluation License: | A 30-day evaluation of FAR data to determine if it is applicable for the potential client's business purpose. |
PAR Data Fees
PAR Data fees are based on a combination of geographical area and whether data updates are required. All prices are valid for an unlimited number of users.

| A single Regional District with updates (excluding GVRD) | $2,000/year |
