Origin Notes and History

Formerly Tackuan Indian Reserves 26 & 26A, Kincolith Band, both extinguished per Nisga'a Treaty and transferred, with extentions, to fee-simple interest: Lots 7231, 7232, 7233 & 5433, Cassiar Land District. Name changed to T'ak'uwaan (site) per Nisga'a Treaty, Appendix F-3, effective 11 May 2000.
