Crown Land Application Process Overview

New and replacement tenures for adventure tourism activity on Crown land are normally offered in response to individual applications.

All new applications for adventure tourism tenures are submitted through FrontCounter BC, which is a single window service for clients of provincial natural resource ministries and agencies.

Applications for amendments to existing tenures go directly to branch staff.

Applications should provide detailed information on:

  • The proposed activity or activities.
  • Where and when the activity or activities will occur.
  • Other users on the same site.
  • Resource and environmental values.
  • How any negative impacts can be minimized.
